Hobson Prior is looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and carrying out maintenance tasks, managing small construction projects, and ensuring our site meets high standards. You will also oversee third-party contractors to ensure all work is done safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out maintenance tasks to prevent and fix issues.
• Oversee small construction projects to keep our site in top shape.
• Make sure we follow all laws and rules.
• Oversee third-party contractors, checking their work before and after it's done.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in maintaining buildings, including health and safety.
• Knowledge of health and safety in building and engineering.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems and current technology.
• Good understanding of building services.
• Ability to plan and carry out site projects.
• Understanding of how to supply, report, and cost utility services.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and solve problems quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on analysis and detail.
• Strong people skills and professionalism.
• Flexibility and a positive attitude.
• Training in electrical, mechanical, and/or air conditioning.
