About the role:

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children who may be falling behind in the curriculum, ensuring they receive the help they need to succeed. You will work closely with teachers to deliver targeted interventions and booster sessions, tailored to meet the needs of individual students.

Your role will also involve assisting KS2 students as they prepare for their SATs, providing guidance and encouragement to help them achieve their best results. This is a part-time role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives. Whether you’re working one-on-one with a student or supporting small groups, your contributions will be highly valued and essential to our school’s success.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a Key Stage 2 setting.

• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal growth.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students in Key Stage 2, particularly those needing extra help to catch up with the curriculum.

• Assist in delivering targeted interventions and booster sessions to enhance student learning and progress.

• Support KS2 students in their preparation for SATs, helping them build confidence and achieve their best.

• Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents, ensuring effective communication.
