ROLE - Quality Engineer

LOCATION - Leicester

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £35,000- £40,000 per annum dependant on experience (please advise)

My innovative engineering client is looking to take on a Quality Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Leicester area.

The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
  • Have industry experience working within a similar quality engineer role within another manufacturing engineering environment
  • Experience of working in an ISO9001 or 14001 environments ideally
  • Good knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools such as 8D, Six Sigma etc.
  • Experience in SPC, PPAP, MSA, FMEA
  • Experience in Lead & Internal Auditing ISO9001 Certification
  • Experience working with customers & suppliers
The Quality Engineer role will involve:

  • Working full time onsite as part of the engineering team
  • Ensuring all products and services meet ISO90001 standards
  • Conducting quality audits
  • Being involved in quality inspections
  • Implementing any process improvements that are identified
  • Working as part of a cross-functional team
  • Supporting overall continuous improvement activities
