Agricultural Business Advisor - Ipswich or South West England - £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Benefits!!!

We are working with a fantastic Agricultural Consultancy business and together we are seeking Agricultural Business Advisors to work within the farming/agriculture industry.

The role would suit somebody with consultancy experience and knowledge of or interest in the world of farming.

Location/Radius:

• Ipswich (office based) or South West (remote)

Salary/Package:

• £35,000 - £45,000 per year.

Role:                  

• Implement a ‘value-added’ approach throughout the business.
• Identify and explore new market opportunities for products and services.
• Assist with grant applications, BPS/CSS, and the new SFI scheme.
• Manage budget and cashflow planning for clients.
• Provide soil, manure, and nutrient planning consultancy.
• Contribute to the management of membership benefits and services.
• Act as the key point of contact for key clients.
• Identify gaps in current client offerings and introduce new opportunities or skills.
• Collaborate with the wider team and external clients to achieve business objectives.
• Assist with ongoing projects and provide a range of consultancy services to farming businesses.

Ideal Candidate Experience:

• Experience in agricultural consultancy or a related field.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of grant applications and agricultural schemes like BPS/CSS and SFI.
• Proficient in budget and cashflow planning.
• Ability to contribute to soil, manure, and nutrient planning.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to a wide range of tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
