This truly global, long standing and hugely innovative organisation is one of the major players in the production of a superb range of tools for metalwork including turning, milling, grooving and boring.   They thrive in sectors such as Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Power Generation.  In order to further strengthen their team, they are seeking a talented Technical Sales Engineer to cover the Bristol and Swindon areas.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the promotion of a range of high-quality cutting products and solutions primarily to the Aerospace, Medical, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing sectors.  Responsible for both sales and profitability, you will be managing and developing existing strategic accounts directly and selling indirectly to customers via a distribution partner.  This varied role will see you solving technical problems, demonstrating and testing tooling and utilising your technical experience to form long standing, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Character is all important with this company and your personality and ethics will play an important part in this hard working, incredibly supportive environment.  Whilst sales experience would be beneficial, key to this role is your extensive metal cutting background including CNC, Programming and Machining.  You should be comfortable reading Engineering drawings and ideally you will have an ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering or will have served a technical apprenticeship combined with solid product and application knowledge.  Alternatively, you could have experience in CNC machining or programming machines and sold a similar product into the Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Medical sectors.  Whilst excellent support will be given, you should be a disciplined, target driven individual capable of working on your own initiative.  Irrespective of whether you have sales experience, you should have first class communication and negotiation skills combined with a driven, winning mentality.  This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career both personally and professionally with a forward thinking market leader.
