Job Overview:
As a Laminator, you will be responsible for laminating tooling and components for a diverse range of customers within the automotive, aerospace, and motorsport industries. This role requires careful reading and comprehension of instructions from manuals and engineering drawings to meet the company’s objectives efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laminating processes for tooling and components with precision.
• Prepare patterns and moulds by sealing and applying release agents.
• Execute vacuum bagging procedures for tooling and components to ensure quality.
• Operate and load ovens and autoclaves for curing laminated materials.
• Manufacture templates and cut kits for the laminating process.
• Meet customer delivery deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Actively participate in and support 5S and LEAN Manufacturing initiatives to improve workplace efficiency and organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Logical reasoning and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and following laminating manuals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A minimum of two years of experience in the composite industry as a laminator.
• Basic knowledge of the structure and design of race cars and road cars.
• Experience in operating autoclaves is essential.
