Empowering Learning are working alongside an excellent SEND provision in Long Eaton. The school are looking to appoint a teacher. This role will be paid to scale and will be on a full time basis until at least December, with a view to permanency.

The main duties within the role will be:

• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the English curriculum
• Differentiating sessions to meet the range of needs within the class
• Delivering Teaching sessions to a range of SEND/PMLD pupils
• Liaising with parents and carers around progress of the pupils
• Engaging the children in lessons through dynamic teaching
• Offering ideas towards the wider goals of the school

The school are looking for someone who:

• Has a good understanding of SEND
• Posesses qualified teacher status within the UK
• Can build relationships with children
• Will be able to engage the children in lessons
• Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management
