Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading material handling manufacturer who are looking to recruit a new forklift service engineer to service a fleet of forklift trucks on a client’s site in Lichfield. Responsibilities

• Servicing a fleet of Material Handling equipment of a customer site in Coalville
• Servicing forklift trucks & other material handling equipment 
• Carrying out diagnostics on all equipment
• Liaising with management on site to ensure maintenance is carried out efficiently and effectively
• Reporting to the Service Manager regularly with updates on how the site is running
• Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way on customer site

Requirements 

The company are open to talking to candidates from a mechanical or electrical background and are fairly open on the industry from which the experience comes from. Although there is a preference for individuals with a forklift background, this is not essential as they’d also be interested in speaking to candidates from automotive, commercial vehicles, plant hire, powered access and construction. You will be able to work well on your own with your own initiative and have good customer facing skills. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in commutable distance to Coalville.
