Overview:

You will be working as part of the London-based structural engineering team, focusing on an engaging portfolio of projects in the UK. You would work on a diverse range of projects. Anything from Residential, Leisure, Education, Industrial, Commercial, Hospital/Health projects and more!

This is a real chance to gain more autonomy and use your design and construction knowledge.

This is a position for an accomplished Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in structural analysis, design, and project management. Chartership is advantageous though not essential.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering complex structural engineering projects from inception to completion. Your will play a pivotal role in leading design efforts, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

The Project Structural Engineer should be able to:

  • Work independently and as part of a team, offering creative solutions
  • Produce calculations, models, reports, and presentations to an excellent standard, on time and to budget
  • Conducted Surveys and wrote Reports
  • Conducting structural analysis and design for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting their professional development and growth.
  • Collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Managing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope.

Project / Senior Structural Engineer Skills:

  • Achieved Chartership status - IStructE or ICE (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong design knowledge and use of using British and European codes of practice
  • Experience in using MasterSeries and TEDD software
  • A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Strong understanding of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
