The UK Defence and Nuclear Sector leading engineering company is looking to bring on board a construction manager to work on some of the most exciting construction projects that are going on in the industry.

  • Job Title - Construction Manager
  • Location - Reading
  • Contract length - 18 Months
  • Pay Rate - £56.31 Hour (INSIDE IR35)

This is a great opportunity for a construction manager who has a background in the heavily regulated sectors of nuclear or defence.

Key Skills/Experiences:

  • Have a vast background in heavy construction and working on sites that follow heavy regulations.
  • Good solid experiences working in the built environment and working in a large team to deliver complex projects in the role as a construction manager.
  • Proven track record in successfully planning, managing, and monitoring construction work.
  • A construction background that centres around buildings rather than civil works
  • A good working knowledge of nuclear/defence projects

Essential Qualifications:

  • Hold an industry standard, construction/build environment qualification (e.g.: NVQ Level 6, ONC, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), or National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)
  • Construction accreditation, or a suitable equivalent.
  • industry recognised safety scheme card, (i.e.: a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Manager's card, Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport card or a suitable equivalent.
  • ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCES
