£27,000 - £32,000/annum

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a leading regional civil engineering contractor who are working on several highways' schemes and other projects on behalf of National Highways and private clients. The schemes are based on NEC contracts and are in Devon, Cornwall & Somerset with values up to £20m. They are seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to be involved in a diverse scope of works that includes earthworks, drainage and ducting etc.

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a busy commercial team whilst reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor on various commercial duties (but not limited to):

  • Accurate monthly forecasting

  • Change control management and producing compensation events

  • Sending enquiries to subcontractors

  • Cashflow forecasts

  • Producing and processing formal subcontract documents

  • Producing interim and final accounts

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

A degree in a Quantity Surveying subject or equivalent

Understanding of civil engineering or infrastructure projects would be beneficial

Have the right to live and work in the UK
