Job Title: SC Cleared Data Architect 
Location: Fully Remote - Must be in the UK (ideally commutable to London, Bristol, or Manchester)

Coltech is partnered with a prestigious public sector client who are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Data Architect to join their team for a 6 month contract.

Key Skills

• Oracle implementation and customisation
• Data migration tasks within Oracle
• Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Legacy system data mapping to Oracle
• ETL tools proficiency for data migration
• Data validation and reconciliation
• Data migration testing and quality assurance
• Oracle security roles and permissions

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain data models and other data life cycle artefacts
• Build and maintain data glossaries and dictionaries
• Ensure alignment of the project models with business strategy
• Ensuring that project data architecture quality is sustained and measurable against client's standards
• Responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s systems are designed in accordance with the enterprise data models
• Work alongside Enterprise and Delivery Architecture to ensure that projects and programmes deliver designs and artefacts that align to those of Data Architecture Framework
• Endorse the use of Data Standards for the organisation, including for data modelling and appropriate templates and guidance
• Deliver architectural products (strategies, blueprints, roadmaps, patterns, designs etc) in line with client's standards
• Support projects through DDTS (Digital, Data, Technology & Security) technical and project governance processes through the production of architectural inputs and attendance at relevant governance boards.
• Support projects in governance of outputs not created as part of this service. Production of governance reports and health check reports
• Delivery of technical advice notes, options analyses and recommendations reports
• Support the improvement of operation of the architecture capability (i.e. by providing architecture leadership, mentoring, advice & support)
• Deliver options for a specific business area or feature in the project specified format (e.g. PowerPoint, mural) Define the rationale for the proposed business change; options analysis and assessment; risks & impact of each option; cost/benefits of each option; alignment with strategic goals; recommendations.
• Deliver business / delivery group roadmaps in the project specified format (e.g., project, mural, Jira)
