Responsibilities:

• Assist the teaching team in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.

• Support the creation of an inclusive and positive classroom environment.

• Provide tailored support to students with a range of learning needs, including those with SEND.

• Implement diverse teaching strategies to meet various learning styles and needs.

• Aid in classroom management to maintain a productive learning space.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and prepare educational materials and resources.

• Support students during activities, assignments, and assessments.

• Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents/guardians, and other staff members.

• Keep accurate records and documentation as required.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field preferred.

• Previous experience working with children, particularly in a primary school setting.

• Experience with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

• Understanding of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching methods.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a dedication to supporting students' learning and well-being.

• Ability to adapt and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

• Having a valid DBS which is in the update service.
