Rate of pay: £11.50ph - £13.15ph
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 overtime available

A well-established greenhouse manufacturer based in East Harling is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient assembly of greenhouse components.

• Personal Competencies:

  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure maximum productivity
  • Previous experience with metalwork is preferred
  • Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
  • Ability to take responsibility assigned tasks
  • Basic IT knowledge, as our internal training is primarily e-learning
  • Own transport is required due to rural location
  • Ideally, a full UK driving license for occasional collections and deliveries
  • Eagerness to learn, develop and contribute to the company objectives by undertaking additional tasks

  Responsibilities & Duties:

  We are seeking an operative for our production department, where the journey begins and involves preparing aluminium for the next stage;

  1. Cutting, punching, modification and preparation of lengths of aluminium and other materials.
  1. Adhering to technical drawing specifications for both cutting and punching materials ensuring checks are performed by a senior staff member.
  1. Following the production plan to ensure timely completion of production runs.
  1. Reporting of any quality issues to a senior team member.
  1. Cleaning your workstation at the end of each shift.
  1. Collaborating with the team to conduct quarterly stock checks accurately and on time.
