Drainage/ Flood Risk Engineer

Salary – £35,000-£45,000 DOE

Location – Bedford

What are we looking for?

• Experience working on residential and non-residential projects around the UK, from small private developers to national house builders and master planning schemes.
• Proven experience with the preparation of drainage and flood risk strategies to support planning applications
• Experience of preparing and reviewing flood risk assessments and drainage strategy documents
• Liaison experience and being commercially aware with colleagues and clients
• Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments to support Planning Applications
• Preparation of Surface Water Drainage strategies and Flood Risk Assessments to support Planning Applications
• Preparation of Foul Water Drainage strategies to support Planning Applications
• Fully conversant in the use of software such as Microdrainage/Flow and AutoCAD or their equivalents
• Good organisation, communication, and presentation skills
• Able to work well under pressure and adaptable to rapidly changing environments
• Able to manage projects simultaneously
