About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive school located in Tower Hamlets, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who is committed to supporting students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that enables all students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEN.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to provide a cohesive support network for each child.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
• Monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

Requirements:

• Ideally Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognized SEN qualification or significant experience in an SEN role.
• Proven experience working with children with a range of special educational needs, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of students with SEN.
