Are you self-motivated, driven and have a passion to deliver excellent customer service?

We are looking for a Telesales Executive, who will play a crucial role in our growth strategy by identifying and engaging with SME businesses within the Harrogate area.

Your primary responsibility will be to initiate contact with potential clients to gather their insurance information and understand their insurance needs.

Responsibilities

• Continuously identify areas for improvement and provide potential solutions to the company and reduce costs.

• Delivering good outcomes for customers and putting the customer’s interests first.

• Ensure the customer understands what we sell and support the customer in anyway you can.

• Conduct outbound telesales calls to identify new business opportunities within the local SME sector.

• Collect and record insurance-related information from potential clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with potential clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Work closely with our team of insurance brokers to relay client information and facilitate the initial steps of the insurance advisory process.

• Meet and exceed agreed-upon targets for client engagement and information collection.

• Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the insurance industry to effectively communicate with potential clients.

• Excellent communication skills, including effective communication with clients and insurers.

• Personable disposition with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with SME business owners.

• Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Excellent timekeeping and presentation of self & work.

• Articulate & Numerate.

• A proactive approach to finding and engaging with potential clients.

• Honesty, integrity, reputation, competence/capability & financial soundness as required under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

• Be positive, enthusiastic and motivational about what you do!

Experience

• Proven experience in telesales, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.

• Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
