Here at Smile we are seeking a dedicated Sports coach / Cover Supervisor for a secondary school based in Coventry and Nuneaton for the upcoming  academic year. You will be supporting pupils with their development in the absence of their regular teacher.
 
The expected salary range for the role is between £85-£100 depending on experience.
 
Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lesson plans, this is across various subjects
• Take over PE lessons in the teacher’s absence
• Ensure there is a positive learning environment for the pupils whilst their teacher is absent
• Follow the school’s policies and procedures
• Manage the behaviour of the class, supporting the pupils at all times

 
Requirements

• Previous experience working with children
• Previous experience working in education (desired)
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to pay for one
• A passion for teaching / supporting
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work in different classrooms with a can-do attitude
