We are looking for a trainee wireman who has an interest and has basic knowledge of electrical engineering to support growth a great opportunity for someone to who wants to gain a comprehensive understanding of wiring a range of machinery used in Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be part of the electrical assembly team within a fast past manufacturing environment. We do not sponsor and not seeking a relocator.

Responsibilities

• Wiring various machine to given timescales
• Support with mechanical assembly as required
• Give feedback and suggest improvements
• In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his supervisor that essentially relate to the duties of the role.

Essential Requirements

• Able to read electrical circuit wiring diagrams
• Desire to deliver quality workmanship
• Some experience of electrical and mechanical assembly
• Read electrical wiring diagram
• Practical minded
• Able to use various hand tools
• Ideally 6 months wiring experience
• Work using own initiative
• Eye for detail
• Able to work under pressure
• Live Locally (Not seeking relocators)

Desirable Requirements

• Electrical qualification such as B-Tech or NVQ
• Read mechanical engineering drawings
• Mechanical assembly
• Familiar with manufacturing
