Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving primary school located in the Stourbridge area. We are currently looking for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join the team from September 2024.
We are currently looking for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join this friendly primary school from September 2024 until the end of the school year. The successful applicant will be supporting pupil across the whole classroom, including some 1:1 and small group intervention works. Intervention will mainly be focused around phonics and supporting pupils working towards phonics screening.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant primary school at the heart of it’s local community. The school is located in the Stourbridge area within proximity to Brierley Hill, Brockmoor and Kingswinford. The expected pay range for this role is between £9.64-£15.08 per hour, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as Supporting Teaching and Learning. Applicants should be confident in their knowledge of phonics and comfortable in supporting intervention groups and some 1:1 work.
