Activus Recruitment is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our clients culinary team and elevate the dining experience for their guests based in Dunecht, Aberdeenshire. The Head Chef will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious menu offerings, ensuring impeccable food quality, and managing all aspects of the kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative and seasonal menu selections that align with the restraurants culinary vision and delight the customers.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavour.
- Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure a high level of performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to drive business growth and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and new ingredients to constantly improve the menu offerings.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of various culinary styles, techniques, and ingredients.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
