Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods between various locations.
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good condition.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other team members.
• Handle goods with care and ensure they are properly secured for transport.

Qualifications Needed:

• Valid HGV Class 1 License with a valid driver card.
• A clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and extra hours if required.
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy loads.

Additional Information:

• PPE Required: Standard PPE required (specific details to be provided upon hiring).

Project Description:

The role involves the transportation of goods to and from different locations, ensuring the safety and security of the loads. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to safety, a good driving record, and the physical ability to manage heavy loads. You will be required to work efficiently and communicate effectively with the team, especially the dispatcher, to ensure smooth operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £11.62-£21.11 per hour
