We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client's Finance function as an Accountant on a temporary ongoing basis. As a member of their Analytical Instruments Group (AIG), you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a talented team. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the AIG Finance team to achieve team, division, and group goals.
  • Prepare and collate documentation for a large external audit project.
  • Work closely with the Accountant II and collaborate with two South African entities within the Winsford Finance team.
  • Liaise with external suppliers when necessary.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Handle adhoc requests as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Complete or partially completed accounting qualification or QBE.
  • 2+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including experience in Accounting, Controls, or Audit.
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience in SAP or equivalent software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and good judgement.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
