Role - Estate Manager
Location- Stratford, London

Salary- Up to £50k
Your role as an Estate Manager
You will manage a new and exciting estate with some of the world's most exciting cultural and education organisations. You will have a permanent on site presence (5 days per week) to manage full service delivery across risk, occupier liaison, service contracts, repairs and maintenance and service charge budgets.
To be successful in the role, you must have experience with setting and reconciliation of service charge budgets, NEBOSH and IWFM qualification.
Your duties and responsibilities as an Estate Manager:

  • Manage all H&S compliance of the site including LOLER inspections and fire risk
  • Manage H&S audits and risk assessments
  • Risk management
  • Ensure weekly liaison with occupiers estate and facilities management teams
  • Monitor helpdesk requests with service providers
  • Manage service contracts ensuring efficient standards and procedures
  • Manage monthly performance reviews with service providers including KPI reporting
  • Ensuring fabric repairs and maintenance - reporting issues relating to defect liability and reporting and non-compliance
  • Support Estates Supervisor in management of insurance claims
  • Setting and reconciliation of service charge budgets (Experience compulsory)
  • Manage quarterly variance reporting
  • Preparing and enforcing a customer experience strategy
  • Manage third party relationships with landlords and key neighbours across the development


To be successful in your role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • NEBOSH and IWFM qualified
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building and estate facilities management
  • Experienced in setting and reconciliation of service charge budgets
  • Experience managing performance of service providers with KPI's
  • Experience signing off RAMS (ideally in fitout and construction phases)
  • Able to be on site 5 days per week (no hybrid working)

Desirable experience:

  • Previous experience of managing high-profile, public spaces with high footfall (above 20,000 per day).
  • Experience of placemaking and space enlivenment.
  • Experience of construction project handover and snagging.
  • Experience of service road, loading bay and shared waste stream management.
