About the Role: Cambridgeshire Council is looking for a dedicated and motivated Agency Worker to join our Assessment team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the local community while working in a rewarding and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be integral in supporting various departments within the council, ensuring that our high standards of service are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

• We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Social Workers who have the child’s voice at the heart of everything they do to join us in our Assessment Team!
• The Role is hybrid, with working in the office being roughly 2-3 days per week.
• Our Assessment Teams are lively and fast-paced. We’re a team who have a passion for ensuring that children, young people and families in our community receive a positive and timely service.
• The work is rich, varied and allows for a high level of multi-agency working, often to tight timelines. The nature of our work means that you see positive outcomes quickly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CSW/CQSW/DipSW/BA/MA in Social Work
• Proven post qualifying experience in working with childrens services
• Current Social Worker England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
