Our client is a successful and trusted Civils contractor within the industry, they provide excellence across the UK with a legacy spanning over 60 years.

The Project

As an experienced Setting Out / Site Engineer, you will be setting out on a Windfarm project in Aberarder, near Inverness. Due to the remote location our client should be able to provide accomodation for the successful candidate.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional requirements as a minimum;

  • CSCS

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

  • Previous experience setting out for foundations, drainage, retaining walls, groundworks
  • 3 years+ experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer

The Role

  • Job Title: Site Engineer (setting out)
  • Duration: 1 year
  • Reporting to: Senior Engineer

Duties

  • Setting out for the civils package
  • Setting out and line levelling effectively
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols
  • Guarantee adherence to local building codes, regulations, and permit stipulations
  • Execute surveys and site investigations to collect relevant data for project planning
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders, updating and supporting them with updates on project progress
