Our Airline client is looking for a Airline Customer Service advisor to join their team at the offices based in Hounslow, Heathrow

You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, assisting them with their customer service requests including inquiries and reservations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and email, providing accurate and timely information regarding cargo services, rates, and shipment status.
  • Reservations Management: Handle cargo reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient booking of shipments. Coordinate with internal departments to confirm availability and schedule for shipments.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction whilst always maintaining a positive relationship with clients.
  • Documentation: Assist customers with the preparation and processing of necessary documentation for cargo shipments, including airway bills, customs forms, and other related paperwork.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and track shipments, providing customers with regular updates on the status of their cargo. Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to cargo handling and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in customer service, reservations, or logistics is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service and reservations, preferably in the airline or logistics industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in using customer service and reservation software and tools.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
