About the Role:
Our client, a leading provider in the aquaculture industry, is seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join their team in Inverness. As a Workshop Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and assembling high-quality equipment used in fish farming operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with a keen eye for detail to contribute to the success of a forward-thinking company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment used in aquaculture.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure equipment is functioning efficiently.
- Work closely with the engineering team
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the workshop.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
