The Client

Our client is a company that specialises in complete drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic and commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe.

The Role

You will predominantly be site-based undertaking all drainage jobs whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. You will be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind and confidence in the company’s abilities. Our client are looking for an experienced drainage engineer with a variety of qualifications such as street works, CSCS, High Pressure water jetting etc. Duties will include delivering a high-quality service to our commercial and domestic customers. It is fundamental that applicants have a positive "can do" attitude and a flexible approach to hard work and travel.

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of groundworks, drain repairs and reinstatements
• CCTV Camera survey of drains, record defects and recommend necessary repairs
• High Pressure Water Jetting – to resolve blockage issues
• Good basic plumbing skills (installation and removal of sanitary and brassware items)
• Complete paperwork and send it back to the office electronically using the company mobile phone

The Requirements

• Candidates will have a background and experience working in the drainage sector
• Experience in domestic and commercial properties (e.g. office blocks, gym’s, restaurants)
• Preferably have a CSCS card, High Pressure Water Jetting, Confined Spaces
• Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check

The Rewards

The company are willing to pay a competitive starting salary of up to £36,000 per annum plus call-out and the opportunity to train with and develop your career with one of the region’s premium drainage specialists. A take home company vehicle will be supplied, and commission and overtime rates will also be paid.
