Structures Engineer Opportunity / Motorsport / Formula 1 / Northamptonshire
Status – Outside IR35
Pay - Negotiable Depending on candidate
Length – Rolling
Purpose
- Take ownership and responsibility for tasks or projects assigned by line manager or senior/lead engineers.
- Proactively provide support to peers within the group and seek help from other engineers for further support where required.
- Contribute to and aid the development/implementation of structural performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide support for all design groups on structural analysis and optimisation topics.
- Proactively seek performance development by identifying mass-efficient structures.
- Manage own workload effectively, meeting tight deadlines where required.
- Support general departmental workload as required.
- Continue to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of hand calculations, FEA and associated topics.
- To chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required.
- To work proactively, responsibly, and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure.
