Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage and oversee RC frame construction projects across London, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of RC frame construction projects from start to finish.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work is carried out following project specifications, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage resources efficiently, and ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and financial records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with specific expertise in RC frame projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction methods and industry best practices.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a track record of overcoming challenges on-site.
  • Certifications: Relevant qualifications in construction management or engineering are desirable. CSCS card and SMSTS certification are essential.
