Are you a Design Engineer from a Mechanical background who is proficient using AutoCAD or Solidworks, looking for a varied role in a well-established company, offering continual on the job training, as well as excellent progression opportunities into senior and management roles?

This company manufacture a range of carpeting machinery, which is exported worldwide, and due to continued growth they are looking to add a motivated Design Engineer to their team.

In this dynamic role you will be mainly office based, with occasional overseas travel opportunities, working in a team of 7 other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. You will be interpreting and amending client design specifications and drawing them up using AutoCAD or Solidworks.

This role would a Design Engineer from a Mechanical background, who is highly ambitious, and looking to establish themselves in a long term career where they can progress internally.

The Role:

• Office based Mechanical Designer.
• Using systems such as AutoCAD and Solidworks to design carpet manufacturing machinery.
• Opportunity for overseas travel.

The Person:

• Mechanical Design Engineer or similar.
• Proficient using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
• Commutable to Huddersfield.
