I am currently recruiting for my client based in Chelmsford for a Credit Controller on a permanent basis.

This company is well-established specialising in the financial invoice industry and client management. They are fast growing and constantly expanding. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate data processing, and supporting client relationships while safeguarding the company's financial integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or operations, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. This position offers a chance to contribute to a dynamic and professional environment while driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

. Effectively look after and manage a portfolio of clients with multiple debtors.

. Save down remittances from clients for allocation of cash receipts to debtor accounts.

. Regularly review and manage the suspense accounts for your clients, resolving unallocated receipts.

. deal with any discrepancies or issues with debtor invoices with the help of the client management team.

. perform daily sales ledger notes to keep track of debtor accounts.

. Call debtors daily to verify invoices, get payments dates and remittances for payments due.

. Manage a credit control spreadsheet to access risk level and level of verification with clients.

. Escalate issues to senior management promptly.
