Data & Insights Manager - Peterborough - £55,000

I am working with a successful and growing organisation within the retail industry who are looking for a Data & Insights Manager to join their team. Data is at the heart of the success of this business and they are looking for someone to join them to revolutionise report and insight creation.

You will join at a time where the organisation have created a brand new data warehouse to hold its data and are now looking to automate, standardise and improve reporting for multiple stakeholders across different departments. You will also look to implement new software to aid in this data journey, with the adoption of google analytics being a major project that you can become involved in.

You will become the lead of a small team of analysts and work collaboratively together to meet the overall goals of the business. You will be on hand to provide expertise to junior members of the team as well as develop best practice principles whilst remaining hands on technically.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

• Create informative reports and dashboards inline with stakeholder requirements
• Provide support and guidance to the data and insights team
• Extract and manipulate data from the organisations new data warehouse
• Promote the usage and implement new software that will aid with insight creation

This is a fully onsite role based in Peterborough where you will work collaboratively with the other members of the team This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience. To be successful in this role you will have.

• Previous experience working in a data analytics position
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with Google Analytics would be beneficial
• Strong communication and stakeholder management experience
