• Managing all costs relating to highway projects from initial calculations to final figures
• Minimising the costs of a project and enhancing value for money while achieving the required standards and quality
• Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Providing advice on contract arrangements and financial implications
• Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
• Collaborating with the project team to ensure delivery within budget
• Preparing detailed progress reports and updating stakeholders

• Experience in quantity surveying within the HTP sector
• Strong knowledge of highway project requirements and regulations
