Location: Merseyside (UK-wide opportunities)

Salary: £Neg depending on candidate experience

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our pre-construction phase, responsible for:

• Assessing tender opportunities and assisting directors with bid decisions.
• Preparing and submitting accurate, competitive tenders and cost plans.
• Producing well-researched bid proposals in a standardised format.
• Presenting offers confidently to the Senior Management Team and clients.
• Attending site visits across the UK, including the Scottish Highlands.
• Conducting drawing take-offs, measurements, and producing accurate BoQs and pricing schedules.
• Engaging with subcontractors, analysing quotations, and ensuring thorough documentation.
• Collaborating with the APS team to deliver robust tender submissions.
• Staying informed on industry developments and maintaining key supply chain relationships.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• A degree in a related field (desirable but not essential).
• Proficiency in estimating software, such as Candy.
• Strong background in High Voltage Construction Projects.
• Experience with budget cost planning and bid scope for substation work and cable connections.
• Familiarity with civils and/or cables associated with High Voltage Substation projects (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and financial acumen.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyse complex data and documentation.
