Clubhouse Manager

Our client's business in based in a countryside setting in stunning grounds offering First Class shooting instruction. We are looking for a Clubhouse Manager to compliment the experience of all guests and members.

Location: Southam

Hours:

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Main Purpose of the Role

To ensure the efficient and smooth daily operation of the Clubhouse, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Front Desk Management
  • Maintain high standards of customer service through effective front desk management.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in managing bookings, including lessons and corporate events, ensuring all tasks and inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Manage and maintain the Clubhouse calendar.
  • Oversee all aspects of cellar operations, including inventory control, stock rotation, and supplier coordination, ensuring optimal beverage availability.
  • Manage and reconcile store credits daily.
  • Act as a key holder for the Clubhouse when necessary.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan and manage shooting events for up to 20 participants, as well as non-shooting events.
  • Support the Events and Sponsorship Team with event sales and management.
  • Ensure appropriate food, beverage, and staffing support for events.
  • Team Management & Collaboration
  • Oversee the Clubhouse Chef, ensuring a well-curated menu and high-standard event catering.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Department to manage transactions and conduct monthly stock takes.
  • Manage store credits and promotions effectively.
  • Membership & Sales
  • Develop and manage Membership, responding to inquiries and overseeing renewals.
  • Drive sales of shooting lessons and courses, with the ability to upsell.

Line Management of: Clubhouse Chef, Clubhouse Assistants

Health & Safety

  • Ensure that health and safety protocols are followed at all times.

Other Duties

  • Perform any other duties as required.

Skills & Attributes

Essential:

  • Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Experience in managing a team.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

An interest in shooting sports and familiarity with countryside activities.
