OVERALL SUMMARY

You will manage a portfolio of Invoice Discounting and Factoring clients with funds in use of up to £2m in the Manchester Commercial Team. 

You will ensure delivery of excellent customer service whilst maintaining a strong focus on risk management in order to preserve low bad debts and maximise client life and income.  

Working on a hybrid model, with time split across the office, out on the road and an optional day at home, this role requires a customer obsessed individual with a head for numbers and risk management. You'll possess excellent communication, relationship management and problem solving skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and control a portfolio of 40-50 factoring and invoice discounting clients with funds in use of up to £2,000,000.
  • Minimise the risk of loss through use of risk management tools and implementation of risk management procedures.
  • Maintain comprehension of the value of additional security in place per client.
  • Maximise client life by ensuring delivery of excellent service and implement additional services where appropriate.
  • Maximise income by ensuring the correct fee rates are maintained and by ensuring additional fees are charged where appropriate.
  • Obtain and review financial information from clients.
  • Undertake annual client reviews, and ad hoc reviews where facility changes are needed.
  • Undertake client visits as needed.
  • Source new business opportunities from existing client base.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

  • You have industry specific awareness including exposure to credit & risk.
  • You possess Client Management experience.
  • You are competent in understanding and interpreting financial information.
  • You have report writing skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • You are able to show strong customer service focus.
  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
