Our client is a leading house builder, is seeking a skilled and motivated Finishing Handyman to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced individual who takes pride in their workmanship and has a keen eye for detail. As a Finishing Handyman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the completion of high-quality finishes for our clients' projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of finishing tasks, including painting, caulking, fitting kitchen appliances when needed, trim work, and general touch-ups, to achieve exceptional results within specified timelines.
  • Assess project requirements and determine appropriate materials, tools, and techniques needed for each task.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure a seamless workflow and adherence to project specifications.
  • Conduct inspections to identify any deficiencies or imperfections, and rectify them promptly to maintain the highest standards of quality.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and maintain an inventory of supplies.
  • Follow safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finishing Handyman or similar role, demonstrating competence in a wide range of finishing tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of various finishing materials, techniques, and equipment, ensuring optimal outcomes for each project.
  • Proficient in painting, staining, drywall repairs, trim work installation, and other finishing tasks.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and correct imperfections to deliver flawless finishes.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Physical stamina and flexibility to perform manual tasks and work in various environments.
