Experienced Trade Supervisor/Deputy Head of Maintenance required to manage daily maintenance on a commercial property in the Solihull area.

I am looking for a skilled and dedicated Trade Supervisor/Deputy Head of Maintenance to Oversee and be prepared to carry out a range of practical trade and maintenance skills as requested by the Maintenance Manager, ensuring that work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner with minimum disruption. As a Multi Tradesman, you will be responsible for providing high quality first-line maintenance and to prepare rooms and facilities to meet the programme of events.

Responsibilities:

The supervision and work allocation of the Maintenance Team and Facilities Assistants; Deputising for the Maintenance Manager during absence and holiday; obtaining quotations and calling external contractors for second line repairs should the need arise. Being responsible for the control and conduct of all external contractors whilst on the premises; Maintaining appropriate stock levels of parts and equipment; Managing the maintenance ticketing 'help' system, ensuring all requests are completed, prioritised and communicated to other team members

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £32,000 Per Annum

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ in a relevant trade
  • 5 years minimum trade experience
  • Experience in a Supervisory role
  • SSSTS
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • The ability to pass a DBS test
