On-call rota covering 1 in 4

Standing charge of £150

OVERVIEW:

Our client a leading FM company provides FM services in Wakefield.  Working across sectors including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare, they are requiring a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join their expanding team in Wakefield.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

  • To provide, high-quality property electrical maintenance services to commercial and domestic properties in Wakefield. This is a mobile role and travel is required.

DUTIES: 

  • To undertake planned, responsive maintenance and minor installation works either independently or as part of a team.
  • Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems.
  • Reactive repairs to all types of lighting systems and power distribution systems.
  • Competent PAT tester
  • To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools.
  • To help maintain maintenance records and helpdesk reports.
  • To take part in an On-call rota
  • To provide support and assistance to other personnel on-site in the delivery of contracted services.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Qualified Electrician with experience in installation and maintenance work. 
  • Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection & Testing.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Pass and Enhanced DBS check
