This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a litho & digital printing company with a reputation for both quality and service. It would appeal to an experienced individual looking to do a variety of tasks within a busy and long-established printing company. This is a role where no two days are ever the same. You will work closely with your supervisor to ensure all jobs and variety of projects despatch on time and meet SLA’s. You will be working to ensure 100% accuracy is always maintained.

We are looking for a hard-working individual who can offer flexibility and commitment. This highly motivated individual will need to display a professional approach to their work and have a genuine ‘can do’ attitude towards their responsibilities. The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize the workload to achieve maximum output is critical.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively running Canon IX in line with job specifications
  • Ensure all work is produced to the highest quality standard,  most efficiently and on time
  • Ensure accuracy of job production
  • Work to reduce reprints and wastage
  • Achieve highest level of press ‘uptime’ and maintenance reporting
  • Maintain the press room environment and presses to expected high level
  • Ensure all reprints are recorded, monitored and reported
  • Support the Digital Print Supervisor with general running and upkeep of the digital department.

Night shift: Sunday - Thursday

40 hours per week - 10pm – 6am

23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays

£28,000 starting salary rising to £30,000 after 3 month probation completed
