Job title: Principal CS&A Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £55-£60/hr Umbrella
Location: Warrington, Bristol, Preston, Cumbria
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Minimum HNC or equivalent in relevant discipline
- Demonstrable design experience
- Strong working knowledge of CAD tools
- Knowledge of general engineering drawing practices
- Demonstrable experience of leading a multi-disciplined team
- Able to gain SC clearance
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Member of a relevant professional institute
- Experience working on a range of commercial or defense projects

Role information:

- Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of design work to meet the works scope
- Check team drawing output
- Provide technical assistance to the design team
- Liaise with the client to promote development of future business
- Ensure designs are in line with ISO standards and meet the time, cost and quality requirements
- Act as point of contact regarding issues during the design lifecycle
- Resolve issues and technical queries
- Ensure health and safety procedures and legislation are adhered to
