Overview: SWIFT Temps Ltd is recruiting a Fitting Pack Operative for our client in Huddersfield. This role involves working in the fitting pack room, assembling kits with vehicle parts (e.g., bolts, u-bolts). The role requires someone comfortable working independently for most of the day, with occasional assistance from a part-time employee.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble fitting kits based on in-house system forecasts.
• Manage deadlines for daily assembly quotas.
• Book in materials used within the fitting pack room.
• Provide support and oversight to a part-time colleague (8am - 10am).
• Assist in the warehouse with u-bolts after completing work in the fitting pack room.

Reporting To:

• IT Manager (for reporting, workflow, and technical advice)
• Warehouse Managers (for guidance and people management)

Ideal Candidate:

• Looking for part-time work, possibly semi-retired or nearing the end of their career.
• Comfortable with light physical work.
• Capable of working independently with minimal social interaction.

Work Schedule:

• 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 12pm. No flexitime available.
