Barker Ross are recruiting for 7.5t Drivers for a client based in Corby.

Are you an experienced 7.5t Driver looking for a stable, long-term position with a reputable company? We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable driver to join our clients delivery team, specialising in the transportation of high-quality glass.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver glass products to customers and clients across the region.
• Load and unload glass products carefully to avoid damage.
• Follow planned delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle checklists.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on delivery sites.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues to management.

Requirements:

• Valid 7.5-tonne driving license (C1) with no more than 6 points.
• Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience delivering fragile goods, particularly glass, is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading tasks.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and the ability to plan routes effectively.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts if required.
• Early starts may be necessary depending on delivery schedules.
