The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, from breakdown repairs to project engineering, ensuring no two days are the same. The position also provides the chance to work closely with an experienced Engineering Manager, offering ample opportunities for professional growth and development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide engineering support for machinery breakdown repairs, maintenance, and development.
- Assess, repair, maintain, and develop machinery and equipment, including researching and data collection.
- Drive forward projects from inception to completion, producing relevant reports and presenting solutions.
- Support manufacturing operations in terms of plant/process efficiency, safety, and product quality.
- Ensure engineering workshop procedures and equipment are maintained to a high standard, adhering to health and safety policies.
- Liaise with suppliers to achieve optimal solutions.
- Measure the performance of mechanical components, devices, and processes.
- Provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders across the business.

**Essential Skills and Experience:**

- Proficiency with PLCs, specifically Siemens Type S5 and S7.
- Experience with Eurotherm and Uni Drives.
- Time-served Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with 18th Edition Electrical Installation.
- BTEC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
- Multi-skilled in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
- Ability to fault-find on hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Competence in using workshop machinery, such as lathes, jigs, and milling machines.
- Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, methodical, and a team player.
