As a Ward Manager, you will:
- Manage the Forensic ward and its resources to ensure exceptional standards of care.
- Ensure the nursing team has the skills, knowledge, and motivation to deliver high-quality care.
- Assist with the development of services, ensuring wards run effectively.
- Provide senior nursing leadership and act as a visible role model.
- Plan and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care.
- Handle rota management and ensure effective staffing levels.
- Assess and manage the physical healthcare needs of patients.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
- Provide clinical supervision, appraisals, and mandatory training for the nursing team.
