Project Engineer
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £60,000 to £70,000
An opportunity has opened for a Project Engineer to join a suppliers company based in Grimsby. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background within projects including driving continuous improvement and ideally have experience within facilities / warehouse design.
The role includes regular travel to other offices in the UK so they require someone with a Full UK Driving License and happy to travel for this position.
What they’re looking for:
- Experience working as a Project Engineer or similar in the past
- Experience of designing industrial sized areas – ideally facilities / warehouse design
- Excellent in driving continuous improvement within a business
- Facility layout and design knowledge
- AutoCAD would be a bonus
- Any Project Management experience would be a bonus
- Full UK Driving License and happy to travel
Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Working with Facility and Site Managers designing layouts, assisting with cost analysis and budgeting
- Provide project and process leadership for large projects
- Take business requirements and implement from concept through to completion
- Present designs, plans and budgets for projects
- Modify existing designs in AutoCAD
- Price estimation and negotiate with suppliers
