Position: Pathfinder Project Manager
Salary: £60,000 -£80,000+
Location: Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pathfinder Project Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with technical expertise in operating National Grid substations and a strong understanding of high-voltage transmission systems. You'll be at the forefront of managing key projects in collaboration with industry leader Siemens, ensuring the seamless operation and development of the UK's power infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale transmission projects in partnership with Siemens.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of National Grid substations, ensuring all technical standards are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support, leveraging your experience in the energy or nuclear sectors.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in project management within the energy or nuclear sectors.
  • Technical expertise in operating and maintaining National Grid substations.
  • Strong understanding of high-voltage transmission systems and related infrastructure.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale projects with Siemens or similar industry leaders.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset are essential.
  • Full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK without limitations.
