Salary: £130-£180 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)

Monarch Education are recruiting Teaching Assistants and Learning Mentors in schools within the Corby area. Experience working in school is not a necessity, just a willingness to learn and take on a new challenge!

Applicants should have experience working with young people in any capacity, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Teacher, Scout/Guide Leader ECT teachers welcome to apply. Requirements of the candidate:

• Experience working with young people
• A strong team player, with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, who is able to support and inspire children to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive environment
• The ability to adapt to an ever changing workload
• The readiness to learn and take on a new challenge

Responsibilities:

• Teaching students according to their educational needs, including the appropriate setting and marking of work to be carried out by the students.
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students whilst keeping records as required.
• Contributing to reports and references relating to individual students.
• Ensuring that ICT, Literacy and Numeracy are part of the teaching and learning experience of students.
